2 Oct 2019 The weather Station is now operational again. The Raspberry Pi updates caused a problem weatherstation software. So its all been updated.
This station uses a WH1080 clone, controlled by
'weewx', an experimental
weather software system written in Python. Weewx
was designed to be simple, fast, and easy to understand by
leveraging modern software concepts. Weewx is powered by a Raspberry Pi 3B running Rasbian.
The Station is located in the bottom of the Collinsvale Valley. Because of the tapography there
can sometimes be variations in the conditions around the valley.
If you see stupidly high rain falls its because the high winds rattle the rain gauge. This will be
fixed when the weather station is upgraded later this year.
